A juicy burger with a sweet and spicy twist, topped with caramelized onions and spicy mayo.
Ingredients
Tomato - 1, sliced
Lettuce - 4 leaves
Burger buns - 4
Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup
Salt and pepper - To taste
Cayenne pepper - 1 teaspoon
Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
Onions - 2, thinly sliced
Ground beef - 1 pound
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, add the onions and brown sugar. Cook until the onions are caramelized, about 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
Cook the patties on a grill or in a skillet over medium heat until desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium.
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce.
Spread the spicy mayo on the bottom of the burger buns. Top with the burger patties, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato. Cover with the top bun and serve.
