Spicy Beef Tacos

These spicy beef tacos are filled with flavorful seasoned ground beef, topped with fresh toppings, and served in warm tortillas.

Ingredients

  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges
  • Sour cream - 1/2 cup
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Lettuce - 1 cup, shredded
  • Tortillas - 8
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Ground beef - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is softened.
  3. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to coat the beef and onion mixture with the spices. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the oven.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing a scoop of the spicy beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream.
  6. Serve the spicy beef tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
