Spiced Beef

A hearty main course featuring tender beef seasoned with a blend of spices.

Ingredients

  • Beef broth - 2 cups
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Beef roast - 1.5 kg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the beef roast.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the beef roast to the pot and sear on all sides until browned.
  6. Pour the beef broth into the pot.
  7. Cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.
  8. Cook for 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  9. Remove the pot from the oven and let the beef rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
