Som Tum is a popular Thai salad featuring green papaya and a spicy chili lime dressing.
Ingredients
Roasted peanuts - 1/4 cup, crushed
Palm sugar - 1 tablespoon
Lime juice - 3 tablespoons
Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
Red chili - 1, chopped
Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
Green beans - 1/2 cup, chopped
Cherry tomatoes - 1 cup, halved
Green papaya - 1, shredded
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the shredded papaya, cherry tomatoes, and chopped green beans.
In a small bowl, make the dressing by combining the minced garlic, chopped chili, fish sauce, lime juice, and palm sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
Top with the crushed roasted peanuts before serving.
