This Shuk Spiced Coffee is a flavorful and aromatic twist on traditional coffee, infused with Middle Eastern spices.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Cloves - 4 whole
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 stick
  • Cardamom pods - 4 pods, crushed
  • Ground coffee - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the ground coffee, crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the coffee mixture into two cups.
  5. Stir in honey to taste.
  6. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk until hot but not boiling.
  7. Froth the milk using a frother or whisk until it becomes creamy and foamy.
  8. Pour the frothed milk into the cups with the spiced coffee.
  9. Sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon, if desired.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
