Homemade Chai

This homemade chai recipe is made with black tea, spices, and milk. It's a warm and comforting drink that's perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece, peeled and sliced
  • Cloves - 4
  • Cardamom pods - 4
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Black tea - 2 bags
  • Water - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and ginger. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the milk and honey and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the chai into mugs and serve hot.
