Shrimp Scampi with Pasta

This delicious shrimp scampi is made with succulent shrimp, garlic, butter, lemon juice, and served over a bed of pasta.

Ingredients

  • Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • White wine - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
  • Pasta - 8 ounces

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
