Sausage and Spinach Omelette

This delicious omelette is filled with savory sausage and nutritious spinach.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Shredded cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs - 4
  • Spinach - 2 cups, chopped
  • Sausage - 4 links, casings removed

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat the butter in the skillet over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges start to set.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked sausage, wilted spinach, and shredded cheese over one half of the omelette.
  6. Fold the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for another minute, or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
