Salmon and Avocado Toast

This delicious and healthy salmon and avocado toast is perfect for breakfast or a light meal.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/4 cup, thinly sliced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bread - 4 slices
  • Avocado - 1, ripe
  • Smoked salmon - 4 ounces

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly on each toast slice.
  4. Top each toast with smoked salmon slices.
  5. Garnish with red onion slices and fresh dill.
  6. Season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
