Rye Tai

A twist on the classic Mai Tai cocktail, the Rye Tai combines the flavors of rye whiskey, citrus, and almond syrup for a delicious and refreshing drink.

Ingredients

  • Lime wheel - 1, for garnish
  • Mint sprig - 1, for garnish
  • Crushed ice - 1 cup
  • Orange liqueur - 1/2 oz
  • Orgeat syrup - 1/2 oz
  • Fresh lime juice - 1 oz
  • Rye whiskey - 2 oz

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the rye whiskey, fresh lime juice, orgeat syrup, and orange liqueur.
  2. Add the crushed ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
