Rye Mule

A refreshing cocktail made with rye whiskey, ginger beer, lime juice, and a hint of mint.

Ingredients

  • Lime wedge - For garnish
  • Ice - To serve
  • Fresh mint leaves - 4-6 leaves
  • Lime juice - 1 ounce
  • Ginger beer - 4 ounces
  • Rye whiskey - 2 ounces

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves with lime juice.
  2. Add rye whiskey and fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Shake well to combine.
  4. Fill a copper mug or glass with ice.
  5. Strain the cocktail into the mug or glass.
  6. Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
