This classic ramen recipe features a flavorful broth, tender noodles, and a variety of toppings.

Ingredients

  • Chili oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Nori sheets - 2, shredded
  • Green onions - 2, sliced
  • Soft - boiled eggs - 2
  • Chicken breast - 2, cooked and sliced
  • Ramen noodles - 2 packs
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken broth - 4 cups

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Divide the cooked noodles between two bowls.
  5. Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
  6. Top with sliced chicken breast, soft-boiled eggs, green onions, shredded nori sheets, sesame oil, and chili oil.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
