Pumpkin Bread

A moist and flavorful pumpkin bread that's perfect for the fall season.

Ingredients

  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Cloves - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • All - purpose flour - 1 3/4 cups
  • Eggs - 2
  • Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Granulated sugar - 1 cup
  • Pumpkin puree - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugars, oil, eggs, and water. Mix until well blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring just until incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
