Ingredients

  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Chicken broth - 1/2 cup
  • Apple cider - 1 cup
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Pork tenderloin - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Remove the pork tenderloin from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. In the same skillet, add the apple cider, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and honey. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the cider sauce and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  9. Slice the pork tenderloin and serve with the cider sauce.
