This delicious peach and nectarine cobbler is a perfect summer dessert. It features juicy peaches and nectarines topped with a buttery, golden crust.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • All - purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, melted
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • All - purpose flour - 1/4 cup
  • Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Nectarines - 2 cups, peeled and sliced
  • Peaches - 4 cups, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sliced nectarines, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the fruit mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Stir until a thick batter forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
