Ingredients

  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, melted
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • All - purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar - 1 cup
  • Blackberries - 2 cups
  • Peaches - 4 cups, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, blackberries, and granulated sugar. Toss gently to coat the fruit in sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the juices to release.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the fruit mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cobbler batter evenly over the fruit.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the cobbler batter.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cobbler topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
