Parmesan Roasted Turnips

These Parmesan roasted turnips are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional potato fries. The turnips are seasoned with Parmesan cheese and roasted to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Turnips - 4 medium, peeled and cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the turnip wedges with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the turnip wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the turnips are golden brown and crispy.
