Ingredients

  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • Chicken breasts - 4 boneless, skinless

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a shallow dish, beat the eggs with salt and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
