Ingredients

  • Powdered sugar - For dusting
  • Maple syrup - To taste
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 4
  • Panettone bread - 8 slices

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  2. Dip each slice of panettone into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are well coated.
  3. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the soaked panettone slices to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Serve the French toast warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
