This is a classic Italian dish that combines linguine with a delicious clam sauce.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • White wine - 1 cup
  • Clams - 2 pounds, in shell
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Linguine - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the clams and white wine to the skillet. Cover and cook until the clams open, about 10 minutes.
  4. Discard any clams that do not open.
  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine with the clam sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.
