Oregano Chicken

This flavorful oregano chicken is marinated in a blend of herbs and spices, then grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh oregano - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken breasts - 4 boneless, skinless

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, oregano, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Slice the chicken and serve it with your favorite side dishes.
