Ingredients
Lime wedges - For serving
Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
Cilantro roots - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
Pork shoulder - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped cilantro roots, fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix well to make the marinade.
Add the thinly sliced pork shoulder to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated pork slices onto skewers.
Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
Grill the pork skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
Remove the pork skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
Serve the Moo Yang with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the pork.
