Mango BBQ Sauce

This tangy and sweet Mango BBQ Sauce is perfect for grilling and adds a tropical twist to your favorite BBQ dishes.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 1/4 cup
  • Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Ketchup - 1 cup
  • Ripe mangoes - 2, peeled and diced

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mangoes, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool before using.
  6. Use the Mango BBQ Sauce as a marinade or glaze for grilled chicken, ribs, or vegetables.
  7. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
