Linguine with Fennel and Orange

A refreshing and tangy pasta dish with a unique combination of fennel and orange.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Orange juice - 1/2 cup
  • Orange zest - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fennel bulb - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Linguine - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced fennel and cook until it is soft and golden, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Stir in the orange zest and juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Serve the pasta with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.
