Linguine with Crab and Asparagus

A delightful pasta dish featuring fresh crab meat and asparagus tossed with linguine in a light garlic and white wine sauce.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Asparagus - 1 bunch, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Crab meat - 1 pound, fresh
  • White wine - 1/2 cup
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Linguine - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the white wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the wine has reduced by half.
  4. Add the crab meat and asparagus to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the crab is heated through.
  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the pasta is heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
