Ingredients

  • Cooked rice - 2 cups
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Carrot - 1, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (korean red pepper paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Pork shoulder - 1 pound, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced pork to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated pork and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add sliced onion, bell pepper, and julienned carrot. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  7. Return the cooked pork to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
  8. Serve the spicy pork over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
