Ingredients

  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 4, chopped
  • Carrot - 1, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Chicken breast - 2 breasts, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and julienned carrot. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
