Korean BBQ Beef Stir Fry

This Korean BBQ beef stir fry is a delicious and flavorful dish made with marinated beef, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • Cooked rice - 4 cups, for serving
  • Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 4, chopped
  • Carrot - 1, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
  • Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar. Mix well.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  4. Add the marinated beef and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and julienned carrot. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  7. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir fry for an additional minute to combine the flavors.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  9. Serve the Korean BBQ beef stir fry over cooked rice.
