Jonah Crab Cakes

These Jonah crab cakes are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They're packed with flavor and have a wonderful texture.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Old bay seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  • Jonah crab meat - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, and beaten egg.
  2. Stir in the bread crumbs until the mixture holds together.
  3. Form the mixture into 8 patties.
  4. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the crab cakes and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Serve the crab cakes hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
