Ingredients

  • Lemon - 1, sliced
  • Fresh thyme - 2 sprigs
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Haxe (pork knuckle) - 4 pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the haxe with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the haxe to the skillet and sear on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Place the fresh rosemary, thyme, and lemon slices on top of the haxe.
