Guacamole

This homemade guacamole is made with ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and spices.

Ingredients

  • Jalapeno - 1, seeded and minced
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1, diced
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ripe avocados - 2

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Add the lime juice and mash the avocados with a fork until desired consistency.
  3. Stir in the diced tomato, red onion, cilantro, minced garlic, salt, cumin, black pepper, and minced jalapeno.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
