Gomoku Ramen

Gomoku Ramen is a hearty and flavorful Japanese noodle soup filled with various ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Nori seaweed - 2 sheets, sliced
  • Soft - boiled eggs - 2
  • Green onions - 2, sliced
  • Baby bok choy - 2, halved
  • Carrot - 1, julienned
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 4, sliced
  • Chicken breast - 1, cooked and shredded
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken broth - 4 cups
  • Ramen noodles - 2 packs

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add the chicken broth, soy sauce, and mirin to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the shredded chicken, sliced shiitake mushrooms, julienned carrot, and halved baby bok choy. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls.
  6. Ladle the hot broth and ingredients over the noodles.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions, soft-boiled eggs, and sliced nori seaweed.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
