These delicious appetizers feature fresh figs wrapped in prosciutto and glazed with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves - 1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Prosciutto slices - 6
  • Fresh figs - 12

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut a small slit in the top of each fig and stuff with a small piece of fresh thyme.
  3. Wrap each fig with a slice of prosciutto, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.
  5. Brush the glaze over the wrapped figs, coating them evenly.
  6. Place the figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and the figs are tender.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
