Fig and Honey Glazed Figs

These figs are glazed with a sweet and sticky honey sauce, making them a delicious and elegant dessert.

Ingredients

  • Mint leaves - For garnish
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1/4 cup
  • Fresh figs - 8

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a small cross at the top of each fig, about halfway down.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  4. Place the figs in a baking dish and drizzle the honey mixture over them, making sure to coat each fig.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the figs are soft and caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  7. Serve the glazed figs warm, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
