Fig and Honey Tart

This delicious fig and honey tart is a perfect combination of sweet and tangy flavors.

Ingredients

  • Powdered sugar - For dusting
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1/4 cup
  • Fresh figs - 12, sliced
  • Pie crust - 1, store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the honey, lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  4. Arrange the sliced figs on top of the pie crust.
  5. Pour the honey mixture over the figs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the figs are soft.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  9. Slice and enjoy!
