Crab Shell Cake

A unique and delicious seafood cake made with crab meat and shaped like a crab shell.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil - For frying
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  • Eggs - 2, beaten
  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup
  • Crab meat - 2 cups, cooked and flaked

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, bread crumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into cakes that resemble crab shells.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve the crab shell cakes with a side of tartar sauce or aioli.
