Chicken Tikka Wings

These flavorful chicken tikka wings are marinated in a spiced yogurt mixture and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges - For serving
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt - 1 cup
  • Chicken wings - 2 pounds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Grill the chicken wings for about 10-12 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the wings from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
