Cheesy Bacon and Egg Hash

This hearty breakfast dish combines crispy bacon, golden potatoes, and melted cheese, all topped off with a perfectly cooked egg.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Eggs - 4
  • Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Potatoes - 4 medium, diced
  • Bacon - 8 slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the potatoes and onion until the potatoes are golden and crispy.
  4. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
  5. Crumble the cooked bacon and sprinkle it over the potatoes. Top with the shredded cheese.
  6. Make four wells in the hash and crack an egg into each one.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
  8. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
