A classic cheeseburger made with ground beef, cheese, and all the fixings.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Mustard - 2 tablespoons
  • Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Pickles - 4 slices
  • Onion - 1, sliced
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Lettuce - 4 leaves
  • Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
  • Hamburger buns - 4
  • Ground beef - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  3. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly toasted.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  9. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
