Cajun Shrimp Burger

A delicious and spicy burger made with shrimp and Cajun seasoning, served with a tangy remoulade sauce.

Ingredients

  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Lettuce - 4 leaves
  • Hamburger buns - 4
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Egg - 1
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Cajun seasoning - 2 tablespoons
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, and green onions. Pulse until well combined.
  2. Form the shrimp mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and lemon juice to make the remoulade sauce.
  5. Spread the remoulade sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a shrimp patty, and a slice of tomato. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  6. Serve the Cajun shrimp burgers immediately, with extra remoulade sauce on the side.
