Bulgogi

Bulgogi is a popular Korean dish made with marinated beef, grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
  • Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice and your choice of side dishes.
