Bok Choy and Snow Pea Stir Fry

This delicious stir fry combines the crispiness of bok choy and snow peas with a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable broth - 1/4 cup
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Snow peas - 1 cup
  • Bok choy - 4 heads, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable broth, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and stir fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add bok choy and snow peas to the skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until they are slightly tender.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables and stir fry for an additional 2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.
  7. Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
