Basil and Mozzarella Omelette

Basil and Mozzarella Omelette

This delicious omelette is filled with fresh basil and melted mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 cup, shredded
  • Fresh basil leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Eggs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and let it cook for a minute.
  4. Sprinkle chopped basil leaves and shredded mozzarella cheese on one half of the omelette.
  5. Fold the other half of the omelette over the filling.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  7. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
