Banana Oat Bread

This moist and delicious banana oat bread is perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • Chopped walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
  • Honey - 1/2 cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • All - purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Rolled oats - 1 cup
  • Ripe bananas - 3

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon to the bowl. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
