Ingredients

  • Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Heavy cream - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 4
  • Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded
  • Bacon - 8 slices, cooked and crumbled
  • Pie crust - 1, store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions evenly over the pie crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
