Alfredo Sauce

This creamy and rich Alfredo sauce is perfect for pasta dishes.

Ingredients

  • Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
  • Heavy cream - 1 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Continue to cook the sauce for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from heat and let the sauce thicken for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the Alfredo sauce over cooked pasta and garnish with chopped parsley.
