  1. Combine the water, Chinese mesona, chrysanthemum flowers, honeysuckle flowers, and crushed lo han guo in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour.
  3. Strain the tea into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
  4. Stir in the sugar until it is completely dissolved.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  6. Serve the Wang Lao Ji herbal tea over ice.
