Turkish Coffee
Turkish coffee is a traditional method of preparing coffee that results in a strong and flavorful brew.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Sugar - 1-2 teaspoons (optional)
- Turkish coffee - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Measure the water and pour it into a small cezve (Turkish coffee pot).
- Add the Turkish coffee and sugar (if desired) to the cezve.
- Place the cezve on the stovetop over low heat.
- Stir the mixture continuously with a small spoon until the coffee and sugar are dissolved.
- Continue heating the coffee until it starts to foam and rise.
- Just before it reaches a boil, remove the cezve from the heat.
- Let the coffee sit for a few seconds to allow the grounds to settle.
- Pour the coffee into small cups, making sure to distribute the foam evenly.
- Serve the Turkish coffee with a glass of water on the side.
