Tiramisu Cheesecake
This Tiramisu Cheesecake combines the flavors of classic tiramisu with a creamy cheesecake.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Whipped cream - 1 cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Kahlua or coffee liqueur - 1/4 cup
- Strong brewed coffee - 1/2 cup
- Mascarpone cheese - 1 cup
- Eggs - 3
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Cream cheese - 16 oz (450g)
- Ladyfingers - 24
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a food processor, crush the ladyfingers until they resemble fine crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the mascarpone cheese, brewed coffee, Kahlua or coffee liqueur, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Grease a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan and press the crushed ladyfingers into the bottom to form the crust.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the cheesecake to set.
- Before serving, spread whipped cream over the top of the cheesecake and dust with cocoa powder.
- Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy!
