Spiced Mulled Wine
A warm, aromatic and comforting drink, perfect for those cold winter nights.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Brandy - 1/4 cup
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Star anise - 2
- Cinnamon sticks - 2
- Cloves - 6
- Orange - 1, sliced
- Red wine - 1 bottle
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, combine the wine, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and honey.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue to simmer for at least 15 minutes.
- Stir in the brandy.
- Strain the mulled wine and discard the spices and orange slices.
- Serve the mulled wine warm.
